Rich brings over a decade of experience litigating maritime claims in both state and federal courtrooms and guiding clients through complex insurance matters.
A veteran of the Marine Corps and Army infantry, Rich McNelley has focused his practice on admiralty and maritime law since 2008. Rich advises and represents marine transportation companies, terminal operators, and marine insurers on issues related to investigation, defense, and prosecution of maritime claims, insurance coverage disputes. His clients also rely on him for general business advice and counsel. He handles claims arising across the inland river system, regularly representing marine clients in courts throughout the Midwest and South. A seasoned litigator, Rich has first-chaired more than thirty jury trials over the course of his career. He is also a former Chair of the Maritime Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
In his free time, Rich enjoys spending time with his three daughters, kickboxing, and riding his motorcycle.
